Welcome to the Single Flower Zen Center!

The Single Flower Zen Center in Benicia, California, holds daily meditation practice, public talks, ceremonies, and intensive meditation retreats.

Single Flower is part of the Kwan Um School of Zen, an international network of meditation centers led by Dharma successors of the late Korean Zen Master Seung Sahn. Seung Sahn (also known as Dae Soen Sa Nim) came to America in 1972 and taught for 32 years. He died in 2004.

We use the forms and practice style of the Kwan Um School. Most events are open to public. See schedule and information below for details.
